ABU SETS UP SONTA 2020 LOC ABU SETS UP SONTA 2020 LOC
Two weeks after the Society of Nigeria Theatre Artists (SONTA) Annual International Conference, hosted by Niger Delta University (NDU), Amassoma, the Department of Theatre and Performing Arts, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, that got the hosting right of SONTA 2020 has constituted its LOC.
A statement made available to SONTA EXCO by the Head of Department, Dr. Rasheedah Liman, who is the Convener, said the LOC membership is as follows:

- Sylvanus Dangogi – Chairman
- Gana Emmanuel – Secretary
- Jamila Aliyu Mohammed – Member
- Malam Moh’d Rabiu Isa – Member
- Victor Ihidero – Member; and
- Emmanuella Baliat – Member
It will be recalled that ABU, Zaria, was given the hosting right at the AGM of SONTA 2019 on the 31st October, and SONTA 2020, expected to be the 36th edition, will take place between the last week of October and the first week of November, barring unforeseen circumstances.
